We know these movies have made billions of bucks at the box office; but this time, you and your family can relax on a blanket and enjoy a free viewing--assuming the kids don’t demand action-figures.

Why Go? The youngsters will learn the importance of blazing their own trail by carving out a custom-made, kid-sized nature path. We’ll have to just wait and see if they let the grown ups use it.

Montgomery County Agricultural Fair

Why Go? The Fair ends Saturday, so hurry down there before the biggest consolidation of summer fun vanishes.

YMCA Moonlight Swim and Movie Night

Why Go? Swimming at night, popcorn, soda, and everybody watching Rio on a big screen--this could get messy! It won’t be fun cleaning kernels out of the filters the next morning, but “Moonlight Swim and Movie Night” should be a blast. So bring your family, favorite floats, and enjoy the show/swim.

Firefighter Stair Climb at North Bethesda Market
When/Where: Saturday, August 20th 9:00 am 11418 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD 20852 (North Bethesda Market Tower)
Why Go? Support local firefighters as they climb 110 stories to honor their colleagues who died in The World Trade Center on 9/11. Proceeds from this mountain of a marathon go to The IAFF Burn Foundation.
