If you've driven through Glenmont on Randolph Road or Georgia Avenue lately, you may have noticed some new signage.

The Greater Glenmont Civic Association installed five "Welcome to Glenmont" signs in collaboration with the Montgomery Housing Partnership, according to Amanda Bernhardt, president of the GGCA.

The community organization will officially unveil the signs on Sept. 12 at 1:30 p.m. in the Shoppers Food Warehouse parking lot on Randolph Road.

What do you think of the new signs? Tell us in the comments.

Not bad for a community named after a shopping center.
