A portion of Kemp Mill Road near the intersection of Glenallan Avenue is closed Tuesday afternoon after a tree fell down in the storm. (Oct. 30, 2012)

A fallen tree is blocking one side of Kemp Mill Road in Wheaton Tuesday afternoon, and police have closed the street to traffic. On its way to the ground, the tree brought down some power lines and a pole.
