Salvadoran-American Festival Comes to Wheaton in August

Mark your calendars for the Salvadoran-American Festival on Aug. 5.

Sample traditional Salvadoran foods and listen to live music from local and international bands at this free event in the heart of Wheaton on the first Sunday in August.

The festival, which is organized by Salvadoran-American Transnational Communities and Montgomery County, will feature a Latino Health Fair that will provide health screenings and health information for Spanish speakers.

The event runs from 12-6 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 5, in the Wheaton Triangle at 2424 Reedie Drive, Wheaton, MD 20902 (one block from the Wheaton Metro.)
