Montgomery County Police arrested a Glenardan man for the kidnapping and robbery of three elderly men in Wheaton.

Yet after police arrested Henry Levi Sanders, 50, of Brightseat Road, they discovered he may be the suspect for in two other similar incidents in Prince George's County.

According to a FOX DC news report, police in neighboring Prince George's County were also seeking a suspect in connection with two similar robberies. On Nov. 18, in Chillum, a 79-year-old man required hospitalization after being punched during a strong-arm robbery. And on Nov. 20, at the Home Depot store in Hyattsville, an assailant pulled a knife on a motorist after asking the driver for a ride to a Metro stop.

Police arrested Sanders Tuesday after tips and surveillence video linked him to the crimes. FOX 5 reported the victims in the Prince George's carjackings also identified Sanders as their attacker when they were shown an array of photos of possible suspects, according to court documents.

The first two kidnappings and robberies occurred in the parking lot at the Giant Food in the Westfield Shopping Center on Nov. 23 and Nov. 26. Police said the suspect forced his victims, a 75-year-old man and a 60-year-old man, to drive him to area ATMs to withdraw cash.

The third crime occurred in the Target parking lot in the Westfield Shopping Center on Nov. 27. Police said the victim, a 77-year-old man, was attacked with a box cutter and beaten about his face and head. He was taken to a local hospital and treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Sanders has been charged with kidnapping, carjacking, armed robbery and assault.
