Five things for Tuesday: the weather, announcement of town hall meeting tonight and upcoming coverage from last night's public hearing.
1. In the weather, the sunshine continues with highs in the low 60s during the day, dropping to the low 40s in the evening.
2. Tonight the Montgomery County Council will hold a town meeting for Wheaton and the northern Silver Spring area. The meeting begins at 8 p.m. at A. Mario Loiederman Middle School, with a 7:30 p.m. reception.
3. Two students from The Siena School received awards in the FotoWeek DC Youth Photo Contest.
4. Yesterday the Montgomery County Council held a public hearing about a bill that would require big-box stores to sign community benefits agreements with civic associations. Check back with the Patch later today for coverage of the hearing.
