What to Do and See at Brookside Gardens in February

Even in the winter months, Brookside Gardens in Wheaton has plenty to offer. The award-winning gardens are open from sunrise to sunset, and the visitors center is open daily from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Art and Photography Exhibitions
Free, Feb. 4 – April 7, 2013.
Admire drawings and paintings by the Botanical Art Society of the National Capital Region and nature photography by Yuan Li in the Brookside Gardens Visitors Center.
Conservatory Spring Display
Free, ends April 14; 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The conservatory spring display features flowers like winter jasmine, snapdragons, geraniums, birds of paradise and more.
Flower Buds
This monthly series for children meets Feb. 11 and features gardening activities, stories, crafts, and garden walks. More information about registration.
