Wheaton Metro Station Reopens After Debris Issue
Single-tracking from Silver Spring to Glenmont
The Forest Glen, Wheaton and Glenmont stations were briefly closed today after a train running northbound hit "a piece of track equipment."
While there were passengers in the train, there were no reported injuries, said Metro spokesperson Angela Gates.
"We're working to get more information on what equipment was involved," Gates said.
Trains are currently single-tracking between Silver Spring and Glenmont.
