Learn to Speedskate with the Potomac Speedskating Club. Sessions weekly at the Wheaton Ice Arena on Sunday mornings and Monday and Thursday nights. For boys and girls ages 5 through adult, no experience necessary but some prior skating experience is recommended. The Potomac Speedskating Club is the #2 ranked short-track speedskating club in the U.S. Coached by US Speedskating Level 3 Coach Hyun Jung Lee and USS Level 1 Coach Camila Silva.
First 3 sessions are free, then $250 for 10 Learn to Speedskate sessions.

More About Wheaton Regional Park
Covering 536 acres and including 11 miles of trails, this park is a highlight of Wheaton's outdoor resources. It has three main areas: Shorefield, Glenallan and Orebaugh. Shorefield, located at the end of Shorefield Road, features picnic areas, a miniature train and a carousel. Orebaugh is home to the Rubini Athletic Complex and the Wheaton Ice Arena, while Glenallan includes Brookside Gardens and a horse stable. The park has other facilities, such as tennis courts, and runs education programs.
