Rockville Community Nursery School is a cooperative preschool located in the heart of Rockville. For more than 45 years RCNS has offered a cooperative preschool community in which parents, teachers and children participate together in an exciting and nurturing first-school experience. 

Through our creative, play-based curriculum the educational goal of RCNS is to provide each child with developmentally appropriate learning experiences through which a child can grow at his or her own pace. The nationally recognized curriculum at RCNS varies for each age level and provides children with skills imperative for kindergarten as well as an appreciation for themselves, their peers and the world around them. 

All teachers at RCNS have four-year degrees and extensive experience teaching young children.  RCNS is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education and has limited spaces available in its Twos, Threes, and Fours classrooms for Fall 2012.
