St. Patrick’s Day
Green and Growing Scavenger Hunt
Friday, March 15
Have some St. Patrick’s Day fun by following the giant
green leprechaun footprints through the garden. He’s left some clues to help
you, but it’s up to you to discover where he’s going! Along the way if it’s a nice day, leprechaun
helpers will trick you into some healthy activities, all good fun in the sun,
of course! Guided garden walks depart on the half hour beginning at 10:00am.
Last walk leaves at 12:30pm. An adult must walk with each child and assist in
the activities. Pick a time and register.

More About Brookside Gardens
At the north end of Wheaton's Regional Park is the colorful and calm Brookside Gardens, a showcase garden with trails. Photography is popular here, but only individual photographers can snap away without a permit. The conservatory offers a daily live butterfly show, usually mid April through early September, while the visitor center offers information on the gardens, as well as a gift shop.
