Chef Carla Hall Visits 'Good Morning America'

Popular Season Five Top Chef Finalist will be paired with four celeb chefs on a new series.

Chef Carla Hall’s meteoric rise to food personality recently achieved a new high with an appearance on Good Morning America to promote her forthcoming one-hour afternoon show "The Chew."

Hall, who began her career as a caterer in the Wheaton area, caught the eye of the public during her run to the finals during season five of Bravo’s Top Chef (she also later appeared on an “All Star” version of the program).

In April, ABC announced that Hall will join food celebrities Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Daphne Oz and Clinton Kelly on “The Chew,” a show that will cater to food fans of every flavor by including dating, fitness, travel, weight loss and more.

During the recent Good Morning America appearance, Hall cooked up Labor Day fare, including buffalo burgers and a strawberry-watermelon parfait.

While slated for daily national television exposure this fall, Hall still stays close to home and at Brookside Gardens. Watch her debut on ABC’s The Chew on September 26, 2011.
