Free Westfield Family Events at Westfield Wheaton Focus on Boosting Kids' Confidence and Self Esteem

Westfield Wheaton’s Westfield Family program presents I Am Special for the month of August, featuring Westfield Family Fun Days designed to focus on confidence and self-esteem.

August 12 will feature story time with “I‘m Gonna Like Me: Letting Off a Little Self-Esteem,” written by Jamie Lee Curtis and Laura Cornell, and “Bad Case of Stripes,” written by David Shannon. Kids will enjoy a healthy snack and create a picture frame to take home.

For August 26, the featured story time books are “It's Me!” by Eric Drachman and Isabelle Decenciere, and “I Like Me!” by Nancy L. Carlson. Kids also will decorate hand mirrors, create self-portraits to take home, and enjoy another healthy snack.
