Holiday on Duty: Providing Thanksgiving Meals to Police, Firefighters

The Wheaton & Kensington Chamber of Commerce is running its Holiday on Duty program again this year.

It may be a holiday for you and your family this Thursday (unless you work at Target), but many police, firefighters and other public safety personnel stay on duty--ready to respond to emergencies in Wheaton and Kensington.

For more than a decade, the Wheaton & Kensington Chamber of Commerce has provided meals to emergency responders on holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. This Thursday, food will go to Montgomery County police, the Kensington Volunteer Fire Department and the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad.

If you would like to help or donate to the Holiday on Duty program, you can find out more information on the Wheaton & Kensington Chamber of Commerce's website.
