Rockville Hometown Holiday
ROCKVILLE — Easton Corbin headlines Rockville Hometown Holiday, a free Memorial Day weekend bash with more than 40 free concerts and shows booked across eight stages at Rockville Town Square Plaza. Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28. Bruce Springsteen Tribute act, Bruce in the USA, performs Saturday; Corbin performs Sunday; Memorial Day parade and ceremony is Monday. National Memorial Day Concert at U.S. Capitol
WASHINGTON — Daughtry, Trace Adkins, and Natalie Cole will perform with the National Symphony Orchestra. Co-hosted by Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna, with appearances by actors Selma Blair, Ellen Burstyn and Dennis Franz, and former Secretary of State Colin L. Powell.  8 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, May, 27. West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Free, open to the public. The program will be televised live on PBS.

Double Indemnity’ opens at Round House
BETHESDA —  Stage adaption of the James M. Cain crime novel opens Wednesday, May 30, at Round House Theatre in Bethesda, 4545 East-West Highway. The production is recommended for viewers older than 12. For show times and ticket prices, visit RoundHouseTheatre.org.

The Fillmore will be a place for The Used
SILVER SPRING — Utah-based rockers, The Used, are booked for a Wednesday night concert at The Fillmore Silver Spring. Stars in Stereo open the show. 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30. $25.  The Fillmore, 8656 Colesville Rd. For tickets and audio clips, visit FillmoreSilverSpring.com.

On View: Steel sculpture exhibit at BlackRock
GERMANTOWN — ‘Steel: Color, Form, Concept’ exhibit continues through June 15 at BlackRock Center for the Arts main gallery.
