Arts on the Block will host an opening reception for its Birds on the Block Mosaic Art Exhibition, which will feature colorful mosaics and handmade bird-themed greeting cards made by the Arts on the Block student apprentices.
Reception-goers can purchase the artwork and speak with the art apprentices. Light refreshments will be provided.
The exhibition runs from Aug. 25 to Oct. 1 at the Kefa Cafe in Downtown Silver Spring.
