Brookside Gardens Festival of Lights

The Rockville Swing Band, under the musical direction of Rob Putt, is an affiliation of the Rockville Concert Band and has been around for over 50 years, founded in 1958. The Rockville Swing Band brings together a unique group of talented musicians of all ages from the greater Washington D.C. area who love to play swing music. This exciting mix of musical talent plays traditional swing charts from the Golden Era, as well as contemporary big band arrangements. Recent performance venues include Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland, Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital in D.C., Combined Federal Campaign reception in D.C., the Sandy Spring Museum, Mormon Visitors Center in Kensington, Benhke’s Nursery in Beltsville, Ingleside at King Farm in Rockville and our long time standing performance at the Rockville Antique Car Show every year in October.
