Grab & Go Kids Planner: March 10 through March 16

Art and self-esteem building for kids.

It's Wednesday, and that means it's time to check out our Grab & Go Kids Planner to see what the Wheaton area has to offer kids and families this week. As always, we'd love to hear from you if there are any local, family-friendly events that we missed. Let us know, and we'll be sure to keep an eye out for them in the future.

This weekend, your kids will have a great time building on the great people they already are. There are lots of opportunities for kids of all ages to learn and grow, and you won't have to travel too far.

Here are some local family-friendly events we think you'll all enjoy:

• PARENTING COURSE:
Where/When:  on Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Why Go: If you're a parent of a newborn to 4-year-old child, you probably know how hard it is to get children to eat well, sleep properly and get started on toilet training. PEP has a lot to offer parents in the area, and we thought you could use the break and gain some knowledge to make these tough skills attainable for your child.

Why Go: You can never expose your kids to enough art. The added bonus: If your child isn't into looking at the artwork, there will be crafts for everyone to do.
