Did your New Year's Eve plans fall through or have a change of heart about staying in at the last minute? Well, you're in luck because Patch has a list of ideas for some spur of the moment New Year's Eve plans.

 in Kensington will be open for dinner. Gonzalo Barba has prepared a special menu for the occassion featuring seared salmon, lamb shank, airline chicken and more.

The  in Takoma Park will help guests ring in the New Year with a special mystery show, a buffet, champagne toast, music and more. The night kicks off at 7 p.m. and will end with dancing at 1 a.m. $79.99 will get you the entire package. Reservations were suggested, but spots may still be open. In Silver Spring, Jackie's Restaurant is offering a four course prix fixe menu for $65 per person, which includes a glass of sparkling wine. The special menu includes pierogies, stuffed trotter, sirloin and more. Sidebar is having an open bar with snacks for $65 per person and The Backroom will have a live performance by an eight-piece soul band for $30, which includes a champagne toast.

The on Arcola Avenue is hosting an event for Jewish singles between the ages of 30 to 50. There will be Shabbat meals, desserts, games, brunch, ice skating and more. The event is taking place from Dec. 31 through Jan. 2 and costs $169.

Perhaps you still want to stay in, but don't want to be alone. Throw an impromptu party by picking up some liquor at the local DLC store, decorations from CVS and munchies and mixers from 7-Eleven.
