Brookside Gardens is offered free guided walks in October.

October is almost here, which means we're entering the prime season for fall colors. And what better place to enjoy them in Wheaton than at Brookside Gardens!

Free guided walks through the gardens are offered Oct. 6 and Oct. 20. The walks begin at 2 p.m. at the Visitors Center. No registration is required.

And, starting Oct. 6, the conservatories at Brookside Gardens will feature a fall harvest display of chrysanthemums, pumpkins and winter squash. The conservatories are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and admission is free.
