Wheaton Mall Gaining Two New Stores on the South Side

While the Costco waits on the special exception hearing for the gas station, new stores are popping up on the South side of the mall. 

In the former Office Depot box store, Sears will be putting in an outlet store, scheduled to open by the end of the month, according to Matt Barry, general manager for Westfield Wheaton. Sears outlet stores sell appliances, electronics and lawn and garden items at a discount.

Meanwhile, Guissini, a clothing store that moved into the , has been open since the end of January. The store proudly displays that, for a limited time, all clothing items are $10 or less. Inside, there's also shoes, bags and several other accessories. The Circuit City legacy is still hanging on: above the fitting rooms is the sign "Sound Room".
