Whether you need a break from all of the holiday hoopla at your house, like to celebrate out on the town or just flat-out don’t feel like cooking, Wheaton offers a number of places to eat this holiday weekend.

– Take a tour of Italy without leaving Wheaton! Open from 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., Christina’s will offer a selection of Chef’s Specials - fish, veal, chicken and pasta dishes, priced from $18.00-25.00.

–Tagged as one of the Washington Post’s “Five Options for Christmas Dining,” expect this Christmas Eve favorite to be busier than usual this year (reservations are recommended!). Open from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. Paul Kee will offer its full menu of Asian dishes, with specialties like roast duck and gourmet pig dishes.

– Celebrate Christmas Eve Irish-style with a choice of two special menu items, slow-roasted leg of lamb and prime rib. Brendan & Neil will perform traditional Irish music starting at 8:00 p.m.

– Popular with locals, Hollywood East will offer its traditional dim sum on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. - midnight on Christmas Day. Reservations for parties of five or more are encouraged, and later is better - most people frequent Hollywood East between 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
