Friday Wind Advisory Issued for Montgomery County

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Friday, beginning at 3 p.m.

 

No snow on the February forecast, but on Thursday the National Weather Service issued a fire weather watch, and today, a wind advisory. 

The wind advisory begins at 3 p.m. Friday and ends at midnight. Winds may be 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday's fire weather watch had been extended to Friday as of Thursday night, but was canceled Friday morning. A fire weather watch indicates conditions that could lead to the onset and spread of wildfires.
