A new week in Wheaton means a new set of meetings and other events. Here's a look at what's upcoming this week.
- Councilmember Nancy Navarro will be the guest of Kemp Mill Civic Association's meeting at 7 p.m. tonight
- Wheaton Urban District Advisory Committee will host their March meeting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
- WSSC is offering a $1000 scholarship to a student within their service district. The Joyce Starks Engineering Scholarship will go to a college student enrolled in an engineering program. See website for more details.
- Ike Leggett and Councilmembers Valerie Ervin and Roger Berliner will announce legislation Monday at noon to institute a carryout bag fee.
