Here are five things to know today in Wheaton: the weather, an art exhibit, falafel and shawarma, the Wheaton Library and a food stamp budget challenge.

1. Today’s forecast: Mostly sunny in the morning, but clouds will roll in later today. Highs in the upper 30s. In the evening, the temperature is expected to drop to the upper 20s, and there’s a chance of freezing rain and sleet, getting worse after midnight. It might be an icy Saturday morning!
