What You Need to Know About Metro: March 25
A surprising twist of Metro (non) inconvenience.
While Wheaton Patch is usually not a superstitious publication, the weekly Metro report was so surprising to us that we almost didn't want to report it, lest the good news be jinxed.
But we hope we've built up enough good karma to weather this week's list of Metro single-tracking, delays and sundried glitches.
- There is no single-tracking on the Red Line this weekend. Yes, you read that correctly. There is no single-tracking on the Red Line this weekend.
- The Metro will actually open an hour earlier on Saturday, March 26, to help runners in the National Marathon get to the starting line.
- Weeknight single-tracking (after 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday) will run between New York Ave. and Rhode Island Ave. as well as Grosevnor and Twinbrook.
Enjoy your weekend.
