In case you missed the memo and all the campaign signs hanging around Montgomery County, Tuesday is Maryland’s Primary Election Day. Voters in Montgomery County will be picking their favorites for state offices and county offices.

Statewide elections include:

  • Governor/Lt. Governor
  • Comptroller
  • Attorney General

Offices for Montgomery County are:

  • Representative in Congress, Congressional District 8
  • State Senator, Legislative District 18
  • House of Delegates, Legislative District 18
  • County Executive
  • County Council at Large
  • County Council, Councilmanic District 1
  • Judge of the Circuit Court, Judicial Circuit 6
  • State’s Attorney
  • Clerk of the Circuit Court
  • Register of Wills
  • Sheriff
  • Democratic Central Committee at Large
  • Democratic Central Committee, Legislative District 18
  • Board of Education at Large
  • Republican Central Committee at Large
  • Republican Central Committee, Legislative District 18

Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. across the state. But the Maryland Board of Elections encourages citizens to vote sometime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to avoid delays.
