"Courage! The Civil War in Washington"

Courage! is Washington DC's longest running costumed character-led Civil War walking tour. Meet historic figures from 1860's Washington City as you view structures that pre-date the Civil War. You'll see the exterior of Mathew Brady's Civil War studio, the oldest elevator in the City, the Alley where J.W.Booth fled from Ford's Theater, the Civil War Post Office Courtyard, where Clara Barton's City Home still stands and much more. You'll feel as though you've stepped back in time on this interactive walk. Repeats in November and October. As seen in Roll Call, The Washington Post and others, this tour is accessible and holders of Military Id are half price always. Tickets online or from your guide.
