The Cedar Lane Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Dr. Henry Sgrecci, performs for AMCAV, an eastern Congolese non-governmental organization that, in partnership with project co-leader Annette Scarpitta of Bethesda, facilitates the first-time education of 150 children of raped women in 3 villages.

Admission is free, but it is hoped that guests will give generously to this small and largely unknown program.

The family-friendly program - with reception to follow - features:

Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals
Barbara Wing and Elizabeth Lane - Pianists

Gerald McBoing Boing, the Little Boy Who Could Not Speak
Rev. Evan Keely - Narrator
Mario Ramsey - Percussion Soloist

Aaron Copland's Old American Songs
CLUUC Choir and Accompanist, Thomas Guthrie
