Scotland's greatest poet, Robert Burns will be honored on Friday, Jan. 25 at the Royal Mile Pub in Wheaton, Maryland. All over the world Scots and their descendants will celebrate Burn's life and poetry, music and humor on this special day. The evening includes toasting, Parading and Address to the Haggis, the Immortal Memory, Toasts to the Lassies, A Reply to the Lads, jokes, stories and poems by and about Burns and his beloved Scotland. there will be Scottish traditional music, a procession of clans and Highland bagpipes outside the pub.
