Guest speakers Diane Scwartz Jones, Director, Montgomery County Department of Permitting services, and Reginald Jetter, Division of Customer Service, will provide an overview of the County's unique Design for Life Program, followed by question and answer.  Learn how you can age in place or live with a disability by making your home more accessible through a simple permitting process; find out how universal design can accommodate both young families and a person with a temporary or permanent handicap; learn how to take advantage of the County's new property tax credits for accessibility improvements.  This free informational talk is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Montgomery County and the public is welcome.  Bring a supper; beverages and dessert will be provided.  For additional information contact Cindy Snow 301-984-9585; lwvmc@erols.com.
