Ellen Sherfey is a conceptual artist whose core aspiration for spiritual, interpersonal and environmental health - may ease or stir the inner warrior and humorist. Her oil paintings and multimedia sculptures use expressionistic realism to convey discerning yet unassuming inner truths.
Ellen has participated in solo and group exhibits from 1987 to 2013, receiving awards and, in 2005, Ellen's oil painting of white china plates on rainy pavement, called "The Complexities of Simple Needs", was welcomed into the collection of HM Queen Sonja of Norway.
