Ride On, Parking Rates Increase July 1

Parking hours requiring payment will remain the same.

Trying to find a parking spot in downtown Wheaton? Make sure you bring enough coins for the meter.

Parking rates in Wheaton are set to increase, effective July 1:

  • Short-term parking will cost $0.75 an hour.
  • Long-term parking (more than four hours) will cost $0.60 an hour
  • A parking convenience sticker will cost $113 per month

Public transportation fares also are going up. This Sunday, the cost of a Ride On cash fare or token will increase to $1.80, and a fare paid with SmarTrip Card will increase to $1.60. A Ride On monthly pass will increase to $45.
