Verizon Wireless Ranked #1 in Latest J.D.Power & Associates Study

There are many services available to help us choose the best Italian restaurant, to decide what movie to see, or to select a reputable home repair service. But when it comes to wireless network quality, a definitive source for rankings is J.D. Power & Associates.

J.D. Power has just released its most recent study on wireless network quality, and Verizon Wireless was ranked highest among all other national wireless providers in the Mid-Atlantic Region, which includes Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. Verizon Wireless also received the highest ranking in the five other regions covering the rest of the continental U.S., according to the J.D. Power 2013 Wireless Network Quality Performance StudySM, Volume 2, issued Aug. 29.

The J.D. Power study measured network quality among U.S. wireless service providers. More than 26,000 wireless subscribers were surveyed by J.D. Power from January through June 2013 about their experiences with wireless voice, text messaging and data usage. Based on their responses, Verizon Wireless ranked highest among national wireless companies in all six regions, including the Mid-Atlantic Region, and tied in the North Central region.
