While a rash of home burglaries in the larger Silver Spring area continues to be a problem, this past Thursday a thief broke into 11216 Grandview, the home of Country Chicken (Pollo Sabroso) in downtown Wheaton.
According to the 4th district crime analyst, at 2:59 a.m., the front window of the business was kicked in and a cash register was taken. The suspect was captured on video, including the silver four-door vehicle they drove up in.
The manager of Country Chicken was not available Monday for comment.
