Crime Report: Residential Burglaries in Kemp Mill Area

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Montgomery County police have released the latest crime report for the Fourth District, from Jan. 21-29. The list published here is not comprehensive, but rather selects incidents that occurred in or near Wheaton and Glenmont. 

A burglary occurred at Glenallan Elementary School, 12520 Heurich Road, Silver Spring, on Monday, Jan. 21, between 12:01 a.m. and 2 a.m.  The building is under construction. Property was taken. 

A residential burglary occurred in the 900 block of Annmore Drive, Silver Spring, on Thursday, Jan. 24 between 12:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Unforced entry. Property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 900 block of Brentwood Drive, Silver Spring on Thursday, Jan. 24 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.  Attempted forced entry. Nothing taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 200 block of Hermleigh Road, Silver Spring on Thursday, Jan. 24 between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.  Attempted forced entry. Nothing taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 1600 block of University Boulevard, Wheaton, on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 10:30 a.m.  Forced entry. Property taken.

An aggravated assault occurred at the Cricket store, 2600 University Boulevard West, Wheaton, on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 6:35 p.m.  A bullet shattered the store’s front window.
