Crime Report: Two Arrests After Kemp Mill Residential Burglary

Montgomery County police have released the latest crime report for the Fourth District, from Jan. 28 - Feb. 5. The list published here is not comprehensive, but rather selects incidents that occurred in or near Wheaton and Kensington. 

residential burglary occurred in the 600 block of Winona Court in the Kemp Mill area of Silver Spring on Thursday, Jan. 31, between 8 a.m. and 6:25 p.m.  Forced entry. Property taken.

Arrested:  Male, 16, from Silver Spring. Male, 17, from Silver Spring.  

A residential burglary occurred in the 11600 block of Gail Street, Silver Spring, on Monday, Feb. 4, between 7 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  Unforced entry. Poperty taken.

An attempted robbery occurred in the 1700 block of Republic Road, Silver Spring, on Thursday, Jan. 31, at 7:55 p.m.  The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon.
