Prison Parking Lot Scan Leads to Drug Possession Charges
A Wheaton resident living near John F. Kennedy High School faces drug and ammunition charges.
A string of charges against Wheaton resident Amorita Quintanilla, 25, began last October with a visit to a Maryland state prison.
After police dogs detected drugs in her car during a random scan of the parking lot, officers found a concealed brick of marijuana, The Washington Examiner reported.

Police then observed drug-related activity at her home in the 1700 block of Wilcox Lane and obtained a search warrant, according to the Washington Examiner.
