Jewelry Stolen from Parked Car with Driver Still Inside

A briefcase full of jewelry was stolen on Gridley Lane.

Police are looking for a thief who managed to steal a suitcase full of jewelry from a car with its driver still inside. 

Around 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 22nd in the 1700 block of Gridley Lane, a 65-year-old male jewelry salesman had parked his car but not left it. A male suspect broke the rear driver's side window, reached inside and took a suitcase filled with jewlery.

The suspect, described as a Hispanic male, age 20 to 25, 5'6 to 5'7 tall, weighing 140 to 150 pounds, wearing a red sweatshirt, ran down Glenhaven Drive toward Dennis Avenue.
