Man Arrested for May 2010 Murder Brought Back to Montgomery County

Henry Chavez, of Hamington Luis Orozco, was brought from Texas to the Central Processing Unit in Montgomery County this morning. Chavez was charged with first-degree murder and the use of a handgun in the commission of a violent crime, and s currently being held without bond. 

Chavez, described as a Hispanic male, 3’11” tall, and weighing 85 pounds, was found in El Salvador through Montgomery County Police detectives working with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. Marshals. He was transferred from El Salvador to the custody of Harris County Sheriff’s Office in Houston, Texas earlier in February.
