Person Injured in Aspen Hill Assault

The victim was transported to an area hospital.

Update, Oct. 24, 3:55 p.m.: According to Officer Hirsch of the Montgomery County Police Force, the 35-year-old victim sustained an 8-inch cut in what is believed to be an alcohol-related incident involving a known party.

Original post, Oct. 22, 7:14 p.m.: A person was transported to an area hospital after a first-degree assault in the 3100 block of Hewitt Avenue in Aspen Hill Saturday evening, said a Montgomery County police spokesperson.

Police responded to the scene shortly after 6 p.m.
