Police Blotter: April 11 to April 19

Residential burglary and aggravated assault.

Montgomery County Police released the latest crime statistics on Thursday. In addition to crimes described here, police reported one stolen vehicle and two thefts from vehicles in the Wheaton area.

Assault:

  • A residential burglary and aggravated assault occurred in the 3300 block of Janet Road at 9:40 p.m. on April 17. The two involved parties were both known to each other and arrested.  

Arrested: two males, age 50, from Silver Spring.

Commercial Burglary: 

  • The FMB Laundry at 1111 University Boulevard W. was the scene of a commercial burglary at 2:50 a.m. on April 11. Nothing was taken and there was an unknown means of entry.
