The Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from December 5-13. This list is not comprehensive, but rather selects the crimes that occurred in or very near Wheaton. These do not include crimes from the Aspen Hill area.

- 900 block of Annmore Drive, Kemp Mill, on Dec. 5. Unknown means of entry; unknown whether anything was taken.
- 12700 block of Terrapin Road, Wheaton, on Dec. 7 between 7:00-7:30 a.m. Unforced entry; property taken.
- 1900 block of Dayton Street, Wheaton, on Dec. 7 between 3:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
- 12000 block of Milton Street, Wheaton, on Dec. 8 between 7:20 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken.
- 2700 block of Henderson Avenue, Wheaton, on Dec. 9 between 8:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken.
