Police Blotter: Feb. 14 to Feb. 22

A domestic aggrevated assault and two burglaries.

Yesterday, Montgomery County Police released crime statistics for the week of Feb. 14th to Feb. 22nd. In addition to the crimes described here, police recorded five thefts from vehicles in the Lincoln sectors.

Robbery:

  • A strong-arm robbery occurred at the back of the  McDonalds at 12313 Georgia Avenue on Feb. 18th, at 2:06 p.m. A juvenile male victim was on foot when the suspect approached him and implied that he had a gun while demanding personal property.

Suspect: white male5”10”, blue eyes.

Assault:

  • In the 12100 block of Dalewood Drive, on Feb. 16th at 12:30 a.m., a male relative purposely struck a female relative with his vehicle.  Charges are pending. 

Burglary:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 11700 block of Kemp Mill Road, between 1 p.m. on Feb. 15th and 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 16th. Nothing was taken but the house was broken into by forced entry.
  • Overnight between Feb. 15th and 16th, a residential burglary occurred in the 11500 block of Monticello Ave. Property was taken.
