Police Blotter: Feb. 28 to March 8

Three arrested in aggravated assault in Glenmont.

Montgomery County Police released Thursday the latest crime statistics for our area. In addition to the crimes listed here, police reported three thefts from vehicles in Lincoln sectors of the Fourth District.

Sexual assault:

  • An occurred at the corner of Veirs Mill and Aspen Hill on Mar. 7th at 6:50 p.m. 

Suspect: Hispanic male, 38-40, 5’.

Assault:

  • On March 4th, at 11:30 a.m., three suspects attacked an adult male victim with baseball, as well as struck a female relative with a vehicle at the corner of Kendall Road and Randolph Road. They were arrested attempting to flee from the event. 

Arrested: male, 18, from Silver Spring; male, 17, from Silver Spring; male, 15, from Silver Spring.

Residential Burglary:

  • Between 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on March 7, property was taken from the 2100 block of Glenallen Avenue by forced entry.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 4100 block of Harvard Street, March 1, between 1 and 5 p.m. Property was taken by forced entry.
  • Property was also taken by force on March 6, between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. on the 2300 block of Glenmont Circle.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 11400 block of Amherst Avenue, Mar 4 at noon. 

Suspects: two black males, 18-20, 5’9”, 140-160 lbs., with hair in dreadlocks, wearing a long black jackets and a ski masks.

  • In the 10800 block of Georgia Avenue on Mar. 7  at 12:49 p.m, a robbery and a residential burglary occurred.
