Police Blotter: Feb. 6-14

An overnight burglary occurred at the State Highway field office in Wheaton earlier this month, according to Montgomery County Police.

 

The Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from Feb. 6-14. This list is not comprehensive, but rather selects the ones that occurred in or very near Wheaton. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A robbery occurred at Upton Drive and Hillsdale Drive, North Kensington, on Feb. 6 at 2:50 p.m. The suspects threatened the victims with a weapon and obtained property.

An armed robbery occurred in the 1400 block of Dennis Avenue, Silver Spring on Feb. 9 at 3:45 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property. Suspects: black male, 17-22, 6’-6’4; black male, 5’10” – 6’2.

A commercial burglary occurred at the State Highway field office, 11401 Grandview Avenue, Wheaton, overnight Feb. 9 to Feb. 10. No forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 1700 block of Mayhew Drive, Wheaton on Feb. 13 between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
