Police Blotter: June 6 to June 14

Multiple thefts from vehicles in residential Glenmont.

On Thursday, Montgomery County Police released a recent crime summary for the week of June 6 to June 14. In addition to crimes described here, there were two stolen vehicles reported in the Wheaton area.

  • There were 13 thefts from vehicles overnight bewteen June 6 and 7, all within a quarter mile of each other, including the 1600 block of Hugo Circle, 1600 block of Briggs Road, 13000 block of Middlevale Lane, and the 1700 block of Hutchison Lane.  

Robbery:

  • In the afternoon of June 6 at 4 p.m., a suspect assaulted one person and took cash in a home invasion robbery at 2300 Glenmont Circle.

  • A 28-year-old male from Silver Spring was arrested in connection with an aggravated assault int he 10600 block of Georgia Avenue on June 6. 
  • An aggravated assault occurred at (11260 Georgia Avenue), at 2:40 a.m. on June 12.  Suspect: Hispanic male, 18 to 19 years old, 5’5”, 175 lbs.  

Residential Burglary:

  • A residential burglary in the 11300 block of Estona Drive between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on June 9, through forced entry. 
  •  Three males, one, age 24 from Baltimore and two, age 14, from Silver Spring, were arrested in connection with a residential burglary in the 12600 block of English Orchard Court, on June 8 at 10:50 a.m.
  • Property was taken between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. on June 8 from the 12500 block of Winexburg Manor Drive. No forced entry.
  • A residential burglary in the 12300 block of Livingston Street, on June 8 between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. No forced entry.
  • On June 10 between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., a residential burglary occurred in the 12800 block of Connecticut Avenue. No forced entry.
