Police Blotter: May 16 to May 24

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction

On Thursday, Montgomery County Police released crime statistics for the week of May 16 to May 24. In addition to crimes described here, police reported two robberies and one stolen vehicle in the Wheaton area.
Residential Burglary:

  • Three residential burglaries occured on May 22:
  • In the 12400 block of Denley Road, property and cash was taken between 7:20 a.m. and 8:20 a.m.
  • Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m, there was a forced entry on the 1900 block of Winexberg Court, but nothing was taken. 
  • Between 10:30 p.m. on May 21 and 12:01 a.m. on May 22, property was taken in the 1800 block of Briggs Road

 

  • residential burglary occurred in the 12500 block of Layhill Rd. on May 18  8:20 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. 
  • Property was taken by forced entry at 11 a.m. on May 23 in the 12300 block of Atherton Drive. 
  • In the half-hour between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. on May 17, a house in the 2700 block of Harris Avenue was burglarized. Property was taken by forced entry.
  • Between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., on May 19, property was taken through forced in the 2800 block of Harris Avenue.
  • There was a residential burglary in the 11000 block of Burnley Terrace, on May 17 at 9 p.m. Property taken was by forced entry.
