Police Blotter: Nov. 14-22

Residential and commercial burglaries, robberies and aggravated assault.

The Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from November 14-22.

Residential burglary
A residential garage burglary occurred in the 1500 block of Ladd Street, Silver Spring, on Nov. 17 at 2:55 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken. Arrested: male, 18, from Wheaton; male, 18, from Wheaton.

Attempted residential burglary

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 11300 block of Galt Avenue, Silver Spring, on Nov. 19 at 11:40 p.m. Arrested: male, 23, from Silver Spring.

Commercial burglary

A commercial burglary occurred at Tastee Ice Cream, 11160 Veirs Mill Road, Wheaton, overnight from Nov. 18-19. Forced entry; property taken.

Commercial robbery

A commercial robbery occurred at the CVS at 2271 Bel Pre Road, Aspen Hill, on Nov. 19 at 2:55 a.m.

Strong-arm robbery

  • The suspects assaulted and robbed the victim in the 2800 block of Newton Street, Silver Spring, on Nov. 21 at 5:45 p.m.  Suspects: two Hispanic males, 17-18, average height and thin build, one wearing a black face mask.
  • The suspects threatened and robbed the victim at Berry Street and Bond Street, Wheaton, on Nov. 20 at 2:05 a.m.


Armed robbery

Four suspects assaulted and robbed the victim in front of Taco Bell at University Avenue and Amherst Street, Wheaton, on Nov. 20 at 1:00 a.m.

Robbery

The suspects assaulted and robbed the victim the 11200 block of Grandview Avenue, Wheaton, occurred on Nov. 20 at 10:00 p.m.
Suspects: three Hispanic males in a Red Toyota Corolla, 4D, MD tags.

Aggravated assault

An aggravated assault occurred on Nov. 22 in the 2800 block of Kingswell Drive, Silver Spring. The suspect is known to the victim.
