Carjacking

A carjacking occurred at 12:50 a.m. in front of the Burger King at 12265 Veirs Mill Road on Nov. 29.

Suspect #1: black male, 20-24, 5’9” – 6’, 170 lbs., corn rows, wearing a black skull cap, a black scarf covering his mouth, and all black clothing.

Suspect #2: black male, 20-24, 5’5” – 5’9”, 150 lbs. thin build, wearing a black-and-white checkered scarf, black jacket, and black jeans.

Residential burglaries

  • 700 block of S. Belgrade Road, Silver Spring, on Nov. 21 between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
  • 900 block of Orange Drive, Silver Spring, on Nov. 28 between 1:00 and 6:00 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken.

Aggravated assault

The aggravated assault occurred in the 11900 block of Dalewood Drive, Silver Spring. The suspect is known to the victim. Suspect: black male, 22-26, 5’10”, 210 lbs., heavy build, dreadlocks.
